It’s Election Day!
In Port Aransas, the polling place is at the Community Center, located at 408 N. Alister St.
Ballots will be cast from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. today (Tuesday, Nov. 7).
Slightly more than 280 people reportedly cast ballots in early voting in Port Aransas. Early voting ended on Friday, Nov 3.
Fourteen proposed state constitutional amendments are on the ballot.

Results of the election will come in after deadline for this week’s print edition of the South Jetty, but look for returns on the newspaper’s website, www.portasouthjetty.com. They’ll be posted as soon as information is available.
