Tarpon Inn is Port A landmark

Chamber: Whooping Crane Festival a success

The 27th Whooping Crane Festival was a big success, according to officials with the Port Aransas Tourism Bureau and Chamber of Commerce. The event was from Thursday to Sunday, Feb. 22 to 25. There was plenty right about ‘The Play that Goes Wrong.’ The production was greeted with heavy applause by the audience at the Port Aransas Community Theatre (PACT) on opening night – Thursday, Feb. 15. Annual book sale attracts bibliophiles

Scores of folks attended the annual William R. “Bill” Ellis Memorial Library Book Sale on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 3 and 4. The annual sale is sponsored by the Ellis Library Advisory Board.
