Tarpon Inn is Port A landmark

Chamber: Whooping Crane Festival a success

The 27th Whooping Crane Festival was a big success, according to officials with the Port Aransas Tourism Bureau and Chamber of Commerce. The event was from Thursday to Sunday, Feb. 22 to 25. There was plenty right about ‘The Play that Goes Wrong.’ The production was greeted with heavy applause by the audience at the Port Aransas Community Theatre (PACT) on opening night – Thursday, Feb. 15. The comedy will complete its run Thursday and Friday, Feb. 22 and 23, and Sunday, Feb. 25. (Check out the story in this edition for details.)

Weekly ‘Port A Opry’ brings fun for all
