Rebuilding of the Port Aransas Community Theatre is almost complete, and volunteers are needed on Sunday, Aug. 26, for post-construction cleanup.
The post-construction workday is set for 1 to 6 p.m. Folks do not have to commit to spending the entire time at the theater.
“If folks can spare an hour or two of their time to help us, that would be great,” said Ken Yarbrough, PACT board president.
“They are welcome to come and go as needed,” he said.
Volunteers are asked to bring supplies and any tools they think might be helpful to get the building clean and ready to open.
Walls, floors, countertops and more all need to be cleaned.
In addition, constructing flats and the set for “The Full Monty” is planned. Hand tools will be needed for these projects.
