The Port Aransas High School baseball team won two straight games to get by Freer in the bi-district round of the playoffs.
The Marlins held off a Late Buckaroos comeback to win, 6-5, in Banquete on Friday, May 4.
Port Aransas won the first game 19-2 on Thursday, May 3. The Marlins will face either Mason or Sabina in the area round, which is expected to begin May 12, according to the University Interscholastic League website.
