‘Little Shop of Horrors’ continues run at PACT

If you have not yet seen “Little Shop of Horrors,” now on stage at the Port Aransas Community Theatre, make plans to get tickets for one of this weekend’s performances.

The musical that includes an R&B singing carnivorous plant puppet and comedy is on stage Thursday through Sunday, Nov. 11 through 14 and Nov. 18 through 22.

Show times are 7:30 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, and 2 p.m. Sunday.

Tickets are $20 per person for general admission seating and are available on the website, www.portaransascommunitytheatre.com.

PACT is offering a 10 percent discount for groups of 10 or more. Call the box office at (361) 749-6036, for more information about group tickets.

Volunteers are still needed to help in the front of the house at each showing.

Help is needed selling concessions, passing out PACTbills, serving as ushers inside the theater, serving in the bar and working the box office.

To thank all who volunteer, the PACT invites the volunteers to stay and enjoy the performance or ask about a voucher for another day.

PACT is holding a membership drive for the remainder of 2021 and 2022 during the production’s run.

Anyone who purchases a membership at a “Little Shop of Horrors” performance will be entered into a raffle to win prizes. The prizes range from a 2022 season pass to the theater productions and events, PACT merchandise and more.

Memberships start at $25, with each tier increasing in price and membership benefits. Go to the website previously mentioned to see all the membership choices.

The PACT board has released the production schedule for the remainder of 2021 and for 2022.

In December, the Narada Radio Company will present the Christmas classic, “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

In January 2022, the musical production of “Grumpy Old Men,” will be on stage.

February will bring “Disney’s Frozen Jr.”

“I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change,” will be on the PACT stage in April.

In June, “ The Laramie Project” will be on stage. The summer production in July and August will bring “Disney’s The Little Mermaid” to the stage.

“I’ll Be Back Before Midnight” is the production planned for September.

PACT will present a haunted theater experience in October.

In November, a PACT youth production of “The Wizard of Oz” will be in production.

Finally, in December 2022, the Narada Radio Company will return with “It’s a Wonderful Life.”

The PACT is located at 2327 State Highway 361. It is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization funded by donations, ticket sales and various fundraisers.
