Texas SandFest is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization with a mission of supporting local nonprofit organizations and giving scholarships to graduating Port Aransas High School seniors.
In 2023, the organization gave out a record $463,500 to 20 Port Aransas and area non-profits from the proceeds of the festival.
This year, organizers are asking 501(c)(3) groups who wish to receive funds from the 2024 SandFest to fill out grant applications.
The completed applications must be returned by Tuesday, April 30, to be considered.

The SandFest organization has donated more than $1.5 million to area nonprofits and scholarships since 2012.
