Deadline for ArtFest booth space sign-ups is Saturday




Artists and craftsmen who wish to take part in the 12th annual ArtFest, set for Saturday and Sunday, May 13 and 14, have until Saturday, April 15, to sign up for booth space.

The event, sponsored by the Port Aransas Art Center and the Port Aransas Chamber of Commerce and Tourist Bureau, offers artists an opportunity to sell their original fine arts and crafts.

ArtFest will be held at Roberts

Point Park from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Space for a 10 X 10 booth is $150. Set-up is the responsibility of the artist, and there is no electricity.

To apply for a booth space, send an email to artcenter@centurytel.net for an application form, go to www.portaransasartcenter.org and download one or call the art center at (361) 749-7334.

Booth set-up is scheduled for Friday, May 12, from noon to 5 p.m.

The art center will provide food and drinks in the Hospitality Tent for the vendors after set-up.

The Port Aransas Art Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
