New Texas fishing and hunting licenses for the 2025-2026 season went on sale on Friday, Aug. 15, according to a news release from the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD.) Anglers continue to bring in limits of red snapper along with some catches of kingfish and blackfin tuna, according to Port Aransas fishing charters.
