The Port Aransas Police Department is investigating a homicide that took place at 6:30 p.m. today, Friday, June 6, in the 600 block of Sandy Lane.
According to a news release sent out by the Port Aransas PD, upon arrival, officers found two victims with stab wounds.
A 30-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene. The other, a 28-year-old man, was transported with life-threatening injuries by HALO-Flight to a nearby hospital, according to the release. Both men were from San Antonio.
“Preliminary investigation indicates that the two individuals were involved in an altercation during which they stabbed each other,” said the release.
