Gordon Peters died at his Port Aransas home today, Thursday, May 2, after an illness. Funeral services are pending. Peters had lived in Port Aransas for more than 20 years. The Port Aransas Boatmen named him to the organization’s Hall of Fame in 2015, when he was 80 years old. He also served on the Boatmen’s board of directors.
