Photographed near the south jetty, City of Port Aransas Public Works Department employees scoop up sargassum seaweed on the beach and truck it away on Wednesday, Sept. 17. Port Aransas beaches were hit hard by a monster influx of seaweed from high tides produced by Tropical Storm Dolly, which moved into the area of Tampico, Mexico on Sept. 3. Cleanup crews have made a lot of headway since then.
