Tickets still on sale for annual police banquet

Individual tickets and tables are still available for the 12th annual Port Aransas Police Banquet and Fundraiser set for Friday, Feb. 10.

The Port Aransas Police Foundation hosts the annual event to honor and support Port Aransas police officers and department personnel at the Civic Center, 710 W. Ave. A.

The evening will begin with a catered dinner from 6 to 7:30 p.m., followed by a casino night, from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m., that will include Vegas-style gambling, raffles and silent auctions.

Members of the Moore-McDonald VFW 8967 will be on hand to serve up drinks at a cash bar.

The department’s top employees will be honored during the event.

Individual tickets may be purchased for $75 and include dinner and entry into the casino night.

The casino floor will include games like roulette, Texas Hold ‘Em, blackjack and more.

Special buy-ins for casino game chips are available online and the night of the event.

The primary banquet sponsor is platinum. Platinum sponsorships cost $10,000 and include top billing and promotional advertising on all foundation publications, posters, social media and the event’s website. The benefits also include three tables with seating for eight, $36,000 in chips for casino play and recognition on large banners at the event.

Also available are gold sponsorships for $5,000. The perks include top billing and promotional advertising on all foundation publications, posters, social media and the website. The gold sponsorships also come with two tables seating eight, $24,0000 in chips and recognition on medium-sized banners.

Silver sponsorships cost $1,000 and come with top billing and promotional advertising on all foundation publications, posters, social media and website. The silver sponsorship includes a single table seating eight and $12,000 in chips.

In addition, bronze sponsorships can be purchased for $500. The sponsorships come with top billing and promotional advertising on all foundation publications, posters, social media and website, as well as $12,000 in casino chips.
