8th grade Marlins go undefeated

Brundrett Middle School pulled away from Refugio in the second quarter and capped a perfect season with a 38-19 win over host Refugio on Monday, Feb. 6.

 

 

Top scorer Conner Kreutziger finished his middle-school career with a 19-point game. Aiden Porter added six points and Zach Parker scored five points for Brundrett.

The eighth-grade team finished 14-0 and district champs.

Kyler Spaeth scored 17 points for Brundrett but a second-half surge by the Marlins wasn’t enough in their season finale.

Miles Parsons added five points for Brundrett (5-9).
