The locations of two upcoming events hosted by the City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department have been changed.
The first Sunset Sounds concert of the season set for Friday, March 11, will be moved to the Port Aransas Community Theatre, 2327 State Highway 361.
The free concert featuring the Dunebillies will begin at 6 p.m.
Charlie Stovall, Sean Jackson, Tim McIntosh and Randall Higgins, Dunebillies members, will play eclectic rock tunes from the 1960s to the ’90s.
Beach Yoga scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. will be moved to the Community Center, 408 N. Alister St.
Bring a mat or a towel to take part in the session sessions geared toward all ages and fitness levels and features basic yoga moves.
The session led by Port Aransas resident Nancy Meyers is free.
“The weather is expected to be too cold and windy for those programs to be held outside,” said Colleen Simpson, parks and rec director.
