“He has continued to show us that he is ready to take the mound at any point. He really gives us consistent strikes every time he takes the rubber,” coach James Garrett said.
Brennan only gave up two hits and one run in five innings worth of work, giving PAHS a chance to extend the lead, he said.
The “big” bat came from Hunter Roos who tripled in everything –three runs, three hits and three RBIs, Garrett said.
The Marlins played their last home game in Port Aransas on Tuesday, April 22. If the team won, they get second place in district and will play London for bi-district. If they lost, they place third for district and play Benavides for bi-district, Garrett said.
