Folks came out on Saturday, Nov. 22, for the E-recycle, Plant and Book Swap hosted by Keep Port Aransas Beautiful and the City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department. More than 1,000 pounds of electronics were donated, which will be recycled through STS Electronics Recycling. In addtion, 35 cell phones and 30 ink cartridges were donated that will benefit Friends of the ARK. Books that were left over from the book swap will be donated to the Ellis Memorial Library annual book sale.
