Port A Day is Tuesday

You can help this community trumpet its identity at the state level at “Port A D ay.”

The City of Port Aransas and Port Aransas Chamber of Commerce and Tourist Bureau will hold “Port A Day” at the Capitol in Austin on Tuesday, April 4. Festivities are scheduled from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Port Aransas will be recognized on the House floor, and a reception for legislators and staff will follow, according to a chamber notice.

The chamber is asking that folks let the organization know as soon as possible if they plan to attend. The chamber might be able to secure lodging for people who’d like to travel to Austin on Monday, the day before the event.
