The Marlins took on the London High School Pirates in Corpus Christi for a win, 67-53, on Tuesday, Jan. 6.

The Marlins started with a seven-point lead against the Pirates in the first quarter and widened their lead by 17 points at the end of the first half, 39-22.

London would overtake Port Aransas in the second half by three points, still giving the win to the Marlins by 14 points.

The top scorers against the Pirates were Jackson Willoughby with 21 points and Austin Scott with 18 points.

Scott was able to make three three-point shots with Devin Pate scoring two three-point shots and Willoughby and Trout Lorette making one three-point shot each.
