Spring has sprung, Spring Break has come and gone, winter is (hopefully) leaving and summer is on the way.

Things come and go and things change, but the one thing that will always remain constant is God’s love for you. Even if you choose not to love Him, God will always love you.

There is a scripture in the Bible that says God is the same yesterday, today and forever. He never changes. His word never changes.

We are the only things that change. We change like the rising of the tide and the blowing of the wind.

Some change is good. When we change for the better it is always a good thing. When we change and begin to live our lives the way God would have us live, that is always a great thing.

The experts say that it takes 21 days to break a habit. I don’t know about you, but I am sure I have some habits that need to be changed. Am I willing to take the 21-day challenge and allow God to change me, or do I want to stay the same?

Author Max Lucado said in one of his books, “God loves you just the way you are. He just doesn’t want you to stay that way.”

Most people don’t like change because it takes them out of their comfort zone. I used to always say, “I’ve been this way all my life.” That is, until a friend of mine said to me, “That may be true, but how long are you willing to stay that way?” Great advice. Thanks, Earl.

So, I took those words to heart and decided to make some changes. Was it easy? No. Was it quick? Nope, sometimes it was a long, hard process and often still is.

The one thing I realized is God loved me then and loves me right where I am. He doesn’t always like the things I say, the way I act or even the things I may be thinking, but He still loves me.

So, as you go through your day, remember that change is something we all will go through at some point in our lives. But know this: God never changes and He loves you.
