Selma Artley who runs the EMS Resale Shop was given keys to a car on Saturday, Dec. 24, in front of Avery’s Kitchen. Avery Hernandez, owner of Avery’s, organized a fish fry fundraiser to purchase a car for Artley. Ms. Selma, who is 87 years old, has run the EMS ReSale Shop for more than 30 years. The resale shop was formed to help provide funds for the volunteer fire department. Her car broke down some time ago and she had been walking to the shop.
