Students at H.G. Olsen Elementary School have spent the last two weeks working on birding murals, four kids at a time. ‘Boss’ Arlene Hughes, right, and her sister, Barbara Behrens, not pictured, worked with the children and the school’s art and music teacher, Gay de Montel. Fourth graders in Clare Adams class are shown here. Bailey Benson, from left, Madison Ray, Collin Barr, de Montel and David Newman. A total of three posters were made using natural sponges and cut-off wide brushes.
