Meeting tonight: Topic open, old photos abound

The topic of the Port Aransas Preservation and Historical Association (PAPHA) meeting is open for public selection tonight. People, tarpon, visiting ships, building the jetties or the Lydia Ann Lighthouse are all possible subjects.

Set for tonight, Thursday, March 27, the meeting will be moderated by Mark Creighton, who will allow those present to decide on the meeting topic. It will be at 7 p.m., at the Civic Center, 710 W. Ave. A.

Creighton has about 128 photos readied for these topics and said he is ready to share what knowledge he has on any of those subjects.

PAPHA is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to preserving the history of Port Aransas.
