Make plans to stop by Roberts Point Park on Friday, March 17, for the first concert in the 2023 Sunset Sounds concert series.
The concert will begin at 7 p.m. at the Patsy Jones Amphitheater.
Chris Guerro, who plays jazz and pop tunes, will play for the crowd. He has played in Las Vegas, luxury cruise lines, five-star hotels across Asia and Europe as well as international jazz festivals.
A dance group from the Gildea School of Irish Dance also will perform.
The concert is family-friendly, and those who attend are invited to bring their own refreshments.
Folks can spread out on the lawn in front of the stage with blankets and lawn chairs. Golf carts also may be driven into the area for seating.
There is room for dancing on the lawn in front of the stage. Bring the kids, and they can play on the nearby playground.
Friendly, leashed dogs are welcome at the venue. Just make sure to pick up after them.
The Sunset Sounds concerts, hosted by the City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department, will be held the third Friday of each month, March through October.
