Lions edge Marlins 5-6 in eight innings

The Marlin baseball team went head-to-head with the Kenedy High School Lions in eight innings, losing by one run, 5-6, on Tuesday, March 22.

Marlin Logan Kreutziger racked up two RBIs on one hit and hit a homerun in the seventh inning.

The Marlins went scoreless for five innings, until the sixth inning when they put three runs on the board. The Port Aransas boys tied up the game in the seventh inning, before the Lions scored in the eighth inning, calling the game.
