JV falls to IHS




The JV Lady Marlins came out with a strong first half lead against Ingleside on Tuesday, Dec. 18, but the ladies just couldn’t hang on and lost 37-24.

During the road game, the ladies played a disastrous third quarter, which saw Ingleside go on a 17-4 run.

Top scorers Mel McCann and Jordan Morris still lead the team with 12 and eight points, respectively, but it was not enough to overcome the Lady Mustangs.

Tanai Murray added in three of her own, and Bailey Gray hit a free throw to round out the Lady Marlin offense.

Even with the loss, the ladies had a strong 6-3 record as they headed into the JV Marlin Classic on Friday, Dec. 21. Scoring by quarter:
