Patsy Ruth Will iamson Hada died on Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013 at the Holmgreen Center in Corpus Christi. She was 81.

Hada was born on March 19, 1931 to Willie and Lucille Williamson in Port Arthur. She also resided in Portland, Port Aransas, and Roganville. She married the late John Logan Hada, Jr. on July 5, 1952.

She enjoyed snorkeling in Belize and collected seashells and old bottles. She was predeceased by her husband in 1994; her daughter Holly in 1998; her parents, Willie and Lucille Williamson, siblings Billy and Jack Williamson; and daughter-in-law Darlene Hada.

She is survived by her daughter Nancy (Ronnie Bedre) Hada of Aransas Pass; her grandchildren, Dr. Shelby Sutton (Omar) Fetouh of Dallas and great granddaughter Mya; Stacy (Matt Armstrong) Sutton of Austin; her son Robert (Carolyn) Hada of Flour Bluff and his children, Christi (Nils) Taft and their children, William, Alex, and Vincent; Chad Hada of Houston, her granddaughter, U.S. Army Capt. Maegan Hada of Fort Hood, and grandson Jonathan Hada of Flour Bluff; Holly Hada’s children Chelsea Garcia, and great-grandchildren Holly and JP, and grandson, John Garcia of Corpus Christi; son James (Katy) Hada of Houston and their children, Anna, Cecelia, and Jack. She also is survived by her sisterin law Nissa Hada of Flour Bluff; brother-in-law William (Rosalva) Hada of Houston; and daughter Carol Stahlstrom of Portland.

There will be a gathering of family and friends and a celebration of Hada’s life at the Friendship Cemetery in Roganville at a later date. Her granddaughter, Stacy Sutton, has cystic fibrosis, and is now 30 years old and a physical therapist, runner, and supporter of the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.
