Few voted in primary run-offs

Precinct 19 results in the May 24 Republican and Democratic primaries were not available from the Nueces County Elections Office.

Results were not available for last week’s edition of the South Jetty because polls closed after the newspaper went to press.

Following are Nueces County the races in both run-offs.

The election drew just 5.24 percent of registered voters in the county.

Of the 211,321 voters registered in the county, 11,079 cast ballots.
