Easter Bunny to visit during egg hunt on Sunday at park





All children up to 10 years old are invited to join in the hunt for Easter eggs and prizes at the annual Rotary Club egg hunt.

The hunt will take place by the pool at the Community Park, 700 Clark Pkwy., off Ross Avenue. It will start at 2 p.m., on Sunday, April 8.

The Easter Bunny will stop off in Port Aransas to supervise the hunt.

Youngsters will hunt for goodyfilled plastic Easter eggs and have their picture taken with the Easter Bunny during the event according to coordinator Ida Jones.

The community-wide event is free and open to the public.

Prizes will be awarded to winners in five age groups for a special egg in each age group. Age groups will be divided into groups that include infants to 2 years; 3 to 4 years; 5 to 6 years; 7 to 8 years; and 9 to 10 years.
