It was a near clean sweep when the Brundrett Middle School hosted the district tennis tournament on Tuesday, May 10.

The date of the tournament was switched from May 16 at the last minute because of a conflict, said coach Steve Reaves.

The middle school players from Port A spent the afternoon battling it out with the Eagles from Woodsboro.

The only category not taken by the young Marlins was seventh-grade boys.

The tournament ends the season for the team.
