Basketball bests








Ten Port Aransas High School boys recently received district honors related to their performances during the just-concluded basketball season. Front row, from left, are Storm Bales, Mac Owens, Chase Chambers, Caleb Rogers and Thomas Winton; back row, from left: Andrew Groseclose, Connor Collins, Dillon Martin, Tyler Pate and Chris Eggleston. Pate was named co-offfensive player of the year. Storm Bales was one of two players in the district named newcomer of the year. Making first team all-district were Owens and Groseclose. Winton was named to second team. Martin and Rogers were honorable mentions. Making academic all-district were Eggleston, Chambers, Collins and Rogers.
