Athletes of the Year, sportsmanship and other athletic achievement awards were presented during the Port Aransas High School Athletic Banquet.
The event was held Monday, May 9, under the Fred Rhodes Pavilion at Roberts Point Park.
Kyler Spaeth and Kris Jones shared honors as Male Athletes of the Year, athletic director Steve Reaves announced.
Avica Burrill was named Female Athlete of the Year.
The Millie Wise Sportsman Ship Awards went to Stefan Deason and Burrill.
Since the Marlins baseball team won the bi-district championship on Saturday, May 7, and are advancing in the play-offs, baseball awards will be presented at a later date.
Individual awards were presented in each sport.
