Things got rough for a small plane arriving at Mustang Beach Airport about sunset on Monday, Nov. 24. The pilot didn’t put the landing gear down, according to emergency personnel, so some skidding was involved. No injuries were reported. Port Aransas police and firefighters responded to keep other planes from trying to land while the plane remained there.
