First Santa visit

New fire vehicle

Council members Kelly Owens, left, Tanya Chambers, center, and Jo Ellyn Krueger check out the Port Aransas Fire Department’s new vehicle called Brush 4. The vehicle is a John Deere UTV and will be used to fight fires where a regular fire truck wouldn’t be able to go. Fire Chief Adam Maldonado said the vehicle cost about $40,000.

City Council picks beach concessionaire
