The game was started on Tuesday, April 11, then was finished the following day due to a rain delay.

The Lady Marlins took advantage of a hot start, scoring the game’s first nine runs. Kendall Owens provided a stellar pitching performance, giving up no earned runs in a 10 run-rule game. Owens struck out six and walked three in five innings of work.

Port Aransas senior catcher Megan Garrett went 2-4 at the plate, including two RBIs. Emma Lown came around to score four times. Charlotte Ramsden had three walks and scored three times in the blowout win.

The Lady Eagles had just one hit and six errors in the loss. However, they did manage to put up three runs on the board from Port Aransas errors.
