Freshman netters take third

Team members are John Neblett, Carson Collins, Adelyn Neblett, Ian Johnson, Victoria Solarek and Nicole Sullivan. Individual results are as follows:

Freshman Girls Singles

Adelyn Neblett defeated teammate Nicole Sullivan, 8-3; and lost against Gregory Portland, 3-8, for third place.

Consolation winner was Victoria Solarek, who lost to Gregory-Portland, 5-8; defeated Nicole Sullivan of Port Aransas.

Freshman Boys Singles


George Clower took second place in JV boys singles at the Calallen tournament.

Freshman Boys Doubles

Carson Collins and Ian Johnson lost against Gregory Portland, 3-8; and beat Corpus Christi Ray, 8-6, for third place.

JV Boys Doubles

Brayden Martin- and Lane Cody lost to Corpus Christi Veterans Memorial, 4-8.

Boys Singles

George Clower scored second place by beating Calallen, 8-0. He lost in finals to Veterans Memorial, 8-9.

Girls Singles

Monique Lorette won against Corpus Christi Moody, 8-1, then lost to Corpus Christi King, 7-9.
