In the top left photo Fischer explains to Ronda Brothers of Hobbs, N.M., and part-time Port Aransas resident Linda Summers of Austin, that the sargassum grass found along the beach is the home of mini-shrimp. Above, an example of one of the many treasures that can be found on the beach. In the bottom left photo, Fischer demonstrates how to look for beach treasures in the sargassum grass. Discover for yourself all the “treasures” that can be found while taking a walk along the beach.
