Ball drop



The Kiwanis Club held its Golf Ball Drop on the grounds of Port Aransas High School Tuesday, May 28. The five balls that went into the regulation-size hole below or came closest were the winners. Folks who ahead of time bought tickets with numbers corresponding to numbers on the winning golf balls won prizes.The event raised about $8,000 for Kiwanis Club scholarships for graduating Port Aransas High School seniors.
