Friday, April 27, will be a good day to play some golf.

Join fellow golfers that day for Trinity by the Sea Episcopal Day School’s 2012 Charity Golf Tournament at Newport Dunes golf course.

Registration deadline is Friday, April 20.

Check-in will be at 11:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 1p.m. The tournament is a four-person team scramble for $125 per player.

Lunch and a beverage will be provided prior to starting. The tournament will conclude with an awards ceremony and dinner.

Sponsorships are available for $ 100, $ 500 and $ 1000. Proceeds benefit the Trinity by the Sea Episcopal Church Day School. Additional sponsors are needed for food service and donations are needed for goodie bags and items for prize drawings.

An entry form will be posted on the South Jetty Web site at www.portasouthjetty.com. Look for “Forms” under the “Services” bar on the left. The form can be printed, completed and mailed with the entry fee.
