Boogie on down at school

Come boogie dance at H.G. Olsen Elementary’s annual disco Friday, April 13, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Pizza, drinks and hair painting will be on sale, and a prize drawing will be held.

The school is asking for parent donations to go in the baskets for the drawing and baked items for the cakewalk.

Pre-k, kindergarten and first graders need to bring items for movie baskets (popcorn, candy, movies, etc.)

Second through third graders are asked to bring items for arts and crafts.

Fourth and fifth graders need to bring games for family game baskets (board games, card games, water games, etc.)

The disco will feature a costume contest and dance contest in addition to a flash mob.

“DJ Ken” will be on hand to spin some tunes to dance the night away.

Admission is free.

The school needs volunteers to decorate the gym beginning at 1 p.m., and also clean up after the dance is over.
