Get out those golf clubs and play for a good cause.

Trinity by the Sea Episcopal Day School is hosting its 2012 Charity Golf Tournament Friday, April 27, at Newport Dunes golf course. Deadline for registration is Friday, April 20.

Check-in is at 11:30 a.m., with a shotgun start at 1p.m. The tournament is a fourperson team scramble for $125 per player.

Lunch and a beverage will be provided prior to starting. The tournament will conclude with an awards ceremony and dinner.

Sponsorships are available for $100, $500 and $1000. Proceeds benefit the Trinity by the Sea Episcopal Church Day School. Additional sponsors are needed for food service, raffle items and goodie bag donations.

An entry form will be posted on the South Jetty Web site at www.portasouthjetty.com. Look for “Entry Forms” under the “News” bar on the left. The form can be printed, completed and mailed with the entry fee.
