The First Friday reception, a group show by “Island Women,” will be held at the Port Aransas Art Center, 323 N. Alister St., Friday, April 6.

The event runs from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. and will include live music and refreshments.

Featured artists are Clementina Rivera, Sarah Searight, Victoria Marcella Allen and Jane Andrle Gillette.

Sponsors of the April First Friday reception are A Mano and Pam and Matt Landry.
