The Port Aransas Little League’s opening day ceremonies will be on Saturday, March 31, at Port Aransas Community Park, 700 Clark Pkwy.

League officials will introduce teams during a ceremony at 10 a.m.

At 11 a.m., barbecue will be served, and carnival games will be up and running.

Barbecue plates will cost $5.

Carnival games will be $1. Fastest throws will win gift cards from Academy Sports and Outdoors.

Accurate throws will win stuffed animals.

Batting cages also will be operating, just for fun.
