Kenedy game reset to April 10
A District 31A baseball game between the Marlins and the Kenedy Lions, scheduled for Tuesday, March 20, was postponed until Thursday, March 22, because of bad weather in Kenedy – and even then, the game wasn’t finished.
The game went three complete innings before officials turned off the lights and sent the teams home, coach Brian Flack said. Port Aransas was trailing, 0-2, at the time.
The aborted contest will be played as the first game in a double-header on Tuesday, April 10, when the Lions come to Port Aransas for a scheduled game. The postponed game will pick up at the beginning of the fourth inning.
The single game scheduled for April 10 was set to start at 7 p.m. No new starting time has been set for the doubleheader.
