Nor- man Donald “Don” Moore died at home in Ottawa, Ontario Canada, Saturday, March 24, 2012. Moore spent winters in Port Aransas.

Moore graduated Carleton University with a BA and Western University with an MBA. He was a lifelong golfer, longtime member of the Hylands Golf Course, former member of the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club and Cityview Curling Club.

In addition, Moore was a supporter of the Ottawa Senators.

He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Joy; son Steve (Lesley) of Calgary; daughter Donna (Joe) Brule of Almonte and son, Rick (Denise) of Ottawa; grandchildren Robyn, Chelsea, Joy Johanna, Don Leo (Jamie), Chris, Kaleigh, and Bridget; and great grandchildren Brody, Connor, and Chloe; sister Marilyn (Gord) Thompson, and brother Clark Atchison; sisters-in-law Patricia “Patti” Ellis, Bev Atchison and cousin Sandy (Willey) Odendaal.

Services were held at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, Ottawa on Wednesday, March 27.
