Eric Peschke at Dolphin Dock said the 36-hour trip returned 70 blackfin tuna, one yellowfin tuna, one barracuda, one wahoo and a dozen small sharks. Another trip yielded three wahoo, bull tiger sharks and vermilion snapper.

In the bay, anglers caught Spanish mackerel, redfish, sand trout and gafftop.

MaryAnn Heimann at Offshore Adventures, at South Bay Marina, says she has seen limits of redfish, speckled trout and gafftop.

Jeff Miller at Horace Caldwell Pier said anglers returned with pompano, Spanish mackerel, black drum and whiting.

COURTESY PHOTO According to Kristin Swan at Deep Sea Headquarters, offshore anglers have been bringing in blackfin tuna, amberjack, vermilion snapper, ling, shark and barracuda.

Bay anglers are catching redfish, black drum, sheepshead and Spanish mackerel at the end of the jetties.

Art Singleton of Woody’s Sports Center says anglers have caught limits of redfish, trout, some large sheepshead and black drum. For bait they are using live shrimp, menhaden and mullet.

Scott Garrison of Fisherman’s Wharf reports that day trips have been catching great numbers of king mackerel, vermilion and lane snapper, triggerfish, African pompano, amberjack and grouper.

Bay guides have been catching limits of red drum and sheepshead. Catches of black drum and speckled trout also have been brought in.

North jetty anglers caught sheepshead, redfish, Spanish mackerel and jackfish.
