Crawford, Fries and Hawes named to A&M dean’s list
Three students from Port Aransas have been named to the dean’s list at Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi for the 2011 fall semester.
The honor was awarded to Alyssa Crawford, College of Liberal Arts, English; Joseph Fries, College of Science and Engineering, biology and Amanda Hawes, College of Education, interdisciplinary studies.
To qualify for the dean’s list, undergraduates must be enrolled full time with a minimum of 12 semester hours. They must earn a grade point average of 3.65 or better on a 4.0 scale.
Texas A&M University- Corpus Christi is a fouryear university and part of The Texas A&M University System. The university has about 10,000 students and provides bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees.
