Join the Port Aransas Garden Club today, Thursday, March 8, for its annual style show, “Fashions and Flip- Flops ... Island Style.”

Doors will open at the Port Aransas Civic Center on the corner of Cut-off Road and Avenue A at 1 p.m.

Local shops will have booths showcasing their new spring inventories. Shoppers may enjoy wine and hors d’oeuvres as they browse.

The fashion show begins at 2:30 p.m. Joy Morrow-Lucas will narrate.

Tickets may be purchased at participating shops, which are Antique Mermaid, 1023 State Hwy. 361; Absolutely Everything/C&G Sisters, 314 E. Alister St., Suite E2; and The Cypress Tree, 345 N. Alister St., Suite C. Tickets are $20 and sales are limited.
