The Art Center for the Islands has changed its name to the Port Aransas Art Center and needs a new logo.

They are holding a logodesigning contest for artists to submit entries reflective of the island community and of the center’s artistic contributions as a gallery and arts education center.

Anyone may enter as many designs as they wish. Stop by the art center, 323 N. Alister, or go to www.portaransasartcenter.org to download an entry form. The deadline to enter is Thursday, March 15.
