Were you born in Port Aransas? If so, we want to hear from you.

The South Jetty is planning a Mother’s Day feature story about folks who were born here on Mustang Island. We’re not talking about people who were born in a Corpus Christi hospital while their parents were living in Port Aransas. Yes, those folks are still Port Aransas natives, but those are not the kinds of natives we’re looking for. We’re seeking people who actually were born right here on the island, probably in a house or possibly a sand dune.
