Fox, Gerloff are wed

COURTESY PHOTO Aly Fox and Dustin Gerloff, both of San Antonio, were married at 6 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, in a ceremony at The Chapel of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio.

The bride is the daughter of Cecelia and Pete Fox of Port Aransas, and the groom’s parents are Lisa and Darren Gerloff of San Antonio.

The Rev. Edward Kucera Jr. of Plantersville, a cousin of the bride’s mother, officiated at the ceremony.

Soloist was Leah Matthews, a former Port Aransas resident, now of Houston and a member of the Houston Symphony choir.

The bride wore an ivory silk, satin and organza flamenco gown with a sweetheart neckline. It featured an elongated draped bodice and a flamenco rufflepleated skirt with a chapel train. A champagne-jeweled satin ribbon belt accented the waistline and an ivory Alencon lace bolero jacket completed the ensemble.

Cathryn Castor of Port Aransas, a childhood friend of the bride, was maid of honor.

Bridesmaids were Tiara Followell, Tara Grumbles and Lindsay Moore, all of Port Aransas; Maggie Rice of San Francisco, Calif., cousin of the bride; Lauren Webb of Dallas, Holly Winn of Austin and Erin Fye of New Braunfels.

They wore iridescent one-shoulder, street-length dresses of deep teal, blue and green.

Derek Gerloff of San An- tonio served as his brother’s best man.

Groomsmen were Peter Fox and Chris Fox, brothers of the bride, of Port Aransas; Justin Titus, Jason Belz and Dustin Hunt, all of San Antonio; Brett Marbach of Spring Branch and Zach Zigmond of Aransas Pass.

The groom’s attendants wore black tuxedoes with blue vests.

Ringbearers were Riley Weston Rhodes and Fred Walker Rhodes, sons of Mr. and Mrs. Riley Rhodes of George West.

They carried the rings to the altar on small fishing rods.

A reception at Pearl Stable at the Pearl Brewery followed the wedding.

A rehearsal dinner was held the evening before the wedding by the groom’s parents at the Witte Museum in San Antonio.

A 2001 graduate of Port Aransas High School, the bride has a Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University at College Station. She is employed as a pharmaceutical sales representative.

The groom is a 2003 graduate of Reagan High School in San Antonio. He holds a bachelor of business administration degree from Texas A&M University at College Station. He is employed by The Gerloff Company of San Antonio.

Following a wedding trip to the British Virgin Islands, the couple is at home in San Antonio.
